how to hand your personal agent 10 chores in 10 minutes (full list)
One prompt saved me $2,940.76. It found a bill I'd been overpaying in my email and haggled the provider down. Here's that prompt, plus nine more that make a personal agent useful every day.
by
Paste one into your agent and fill in the blanks.
01Lower a monthly bill with one email
It checks every bill you pay on repeat against the new-customer price and drafts a request for the lower rate.
Read my email from the last [12] months and list every bill I pay on repeat: phone, internet, insurance, software. For each, find what a new customer pays today for the same plan. Table: provider, my price, new-customer price, gap per year. Draft a request for the lower rate for the [2] biggest gaps and show me before you send. If they agree, get the new rate in writing and tell me if it's monthly or a one-time credit.
02Wake up to one inbox summary
Every morning it reads your email and chats and sorts them into reply today, can wait and no reply needed.
Every day at [7 A.M.], read my messages from the last 24 hours in [EMAIL, WHATSAPP, INSTAGRAM]. Tell me which ones you can't reach. Send me one short summary in three groups: reply today, can wait, no reply needed. One line each: who, what, by when. Put anything with a deadline, invoice or signature on top, even from senders I don't know. Don't reply to anyone. I'll do the replying.
03Cancel the subscriptions you forgot about
It finds everything that charges you on repeat, including forgotten free trials, and cancels only the ones you tick.
Check my email and bank statements from the last [12] months for anything that charges me on repeat. Include free trials that turned paid, and flag apps that do the same job. Table: name, price per month, last charge, last login or usage email, or "unknown". Cancel only the ones I tick, and send me the cancellation confirmation for each.
04Make 30 car dealers compete on price
It asks 30 dealers for their full out-the-door price and uses the lowest quote to push the others down.
I want a [MAKE, MODEL, YEARS] under [MILES] miles, max [PRICE] out the door, near [ZIP CODE]. Email [30] dealers and private sellers from [SEPARATE EMAIL] and ask each for the out-the-door price with every fee listed. Send the lowest quote to the others and ask them to beat it. After [7] days, send me a table: seller, price, fees, miles, link. Don't agree to anything or share my phone number.
05Book a doctor between two meetings
It finds a doctor near your office who takes your insurance and suggests only times that fit between meetings.
I need a [TYPE OF DOCTOR] for [SYMPTOM IN ONE LINE]. Find doctors within [20] minutes of [WORK ADDRESS] who take [MY INSURANCE], and check if my plan needs a referral. Look at my calendar and suggest only times that fit between meetings, travel included. Top 3: name, rating, distance, first free slot. Book only the one I pick.
06Buy a coffee machine for less
It compares the full price with shipping across big and small shops and buys only the one you pick.
Find me a [COFFEE MACHINE] for [HOW I'LL USE IT], max [PRICE]. Check big stores and small shops. Compare the total with shipping and tax. Skip shops with bad reviews or no return policy. Top 3: shop, total, delivery date, return window. Buy only the one I pick.
07Catch a Marketplace deal below your price
It watches Marketplace for your item under your max price and drafts an offer when one shows up.
Watch [MARKETPLACE] for a [ITEM] in [CONDITION] under [MAX PRICE], within [DISTANCE] of [ZIP CODE]. Check every [2] hours. When one shows up, send me the link, 3 similar listings and a draft offer based on them. Don't message the seller, agree to a price or share my address until I say go.
08Get a refund without the support chat
It finds the order, talks to support for you and says no to store credit unless you agree.
My [ORDER] from [COMPANY] has a problem: [WHAT WENT WRONG]. Find the order in my email, contact their support by email or chat, and ask for [A REFUND TO MY CARD / A REPLACEMENT]. Send me a log: date, what they said, what you asked. Don't accept store credit or a partial refund without asking me. Tell me when it's solved.
09Claim money for delayed flights and returns
It searches two years of your email for delayed flights and missing refunds and files the claims you approve.
Search my email from the last [2] years for flights that were delayed, cancelled or rebooked, and returns I never got refunded for. For each, check what I'm owed under the airline's or store's own rules. Table: what happened, date, amount, claim deadline. File only the claims I approve and track them until paid.
10Review your agent's week every Sunday
Every Sunday it tells you what it did and asks three questions to fix its routines.
Every [SUNDAY AT 6 P.M.], send me a short review of the week: what you did for me, what you couldn't finish, and which routine hasn't helped. Then ask me 3 questions: what changed offline, what should stop, what to try next. Update your routines from my answers.
Make your agent ask before it pays
It makes your agent ask before it pays, sends or shares anything, and caps what it can spend on one task.
For anything you do for me: ask before you pay, buy, sign up or send anything. Never share my home address, phone number or ID numbers. Never agree to a price or a pickup for me. Don't spend more than [AMOUNT] on one task. If you're not sure, stop and ask.
